Learn the basics of metalsmithing in a fun and supportive environment in this workshop offering. Together we’ll share in creativity and bring your vision to life. This is a great option for individuals and groups of up to 4 people. 

In this workshop I teach, assist and guide you in making your very own necklace or ring in sterling silver. Project to be finished and taken home with you on the day unless we decide to work in lost wax to be cast in metal. 

Process

Once you book with your deposit, I will be in touch to solidify some details about what you’re hoping to make and learn. Before we book a day for our workshop, I’ll want to know what you’re hoping to get from the experience and what you’d like to create together.

Please keep in mind, all bookings will be made for at least 3 weeks out from when the deposit is payed. This is because I need time to prepare and may need to source specific stones for you. 

Workshops are held at Sisu Apothecary in Fairfield, Victoria, a truly stunning space to connect and create in. 

Price breakdown

$500 is the cost for an individual workshop

$300 is the cost per individual for a group workshop

This covers a base payment for materials (metal and stone), beverages, all overhead fees such as renting the space and general supplies used, and my wage for facilitating.

Depending on your design, stone and amount of metal there may be an additional charge to cover higher costing materials. For example, a statement opal ring will be more expensive than a dainty labradorite ring, as will gold be more costly than sterling silver. This will be part of our preliminary discussions so we can determine what you/your group are looking for and if there will be any additional charges to cover cost of material. If there is an expected higher price to cover cost of materials, I will give you an exact quote to be paid in full before the day of the workshop.
