To begin, I ask for a non-refundable deposit: $300 AUD for sterling silver, $500 AUD for 9 ct. gold. This reflects the particular time, energy, and intention that goes into designing engagement and wedding rings.

We will primarily communicate via email, with the potential of moving to another platform where it's easier to share photos of design, stones, etc. At the start, we’ll discuss your vision in detail, and I can offer as much or as little design guidance as you’d like.

I will always ask for your budget before we begin discussing design in any capacity - this way, I can let you know what will be possible in regards to metal, stone, design, etc.

Whether you have a clear idea or just a few elements in mind, I’ll draw up a few designs options for us to look at together. Once a design feels right and we have our stone, I’ll begin crafting.

I will generally source individual stones specific to each project (your desired colour, shape, type etc.). Once I have an understanding of what you're looking for in a stone, I will gather and provide a collection of options that fit your budget. There are certain stones that I may strongly suggest avoiding for the purposes of creating a ring that is heirloom quality and can be worn everyday, for a lifetime.

If you already have a stone, I can assess whether it is suitable to be set safely.

After we finalise the design, I can provide a quote based on metal, stone, and complexity of design. Your deposit goes toward the final price, with the remainder due before shipping.

I will always ask what your timeline is. Bespoke engagement and wedding rings generally take 6-8 weeks to complete, dependant on the design, length of time it takes to source and receive stone, etc.
